  1. Excellent post, Gilly! I know too well what stress can do! I've had 4 mini strokes in 2 years! Thank goodness I'm ok! Hence, why I've started to exercise and eat healthier, even more than before. Thanks you for sharing. You are such an inspiration.

  5. IT is CrAzY Robert, I'm the same...
There's not always enjoyment but we have that choice to feel free. Your cup is always overflowing :) when it doesn't feel great make time to go for a walk or run. Or do something you love.

  8. Great post. I love to stop, take in my surroundings and relish in what I see. This is about being present in the moment. We rush by so much.

  9. I love my life being busy, really busy and with things I love to do. I don't find it stressful because I know I have a say in the matter. I have ontrol. I have freedom. When things get more hectic, I get a bigger plate. Beautifully written and I am 8 again every day.

  11. I have learned that stress doesn't come from the facts. Stress comes from the meaning we give the facts. Our conscious and subconscious ties things together from our negative experiences and worries and in turns creates the anxiety. When we don't exercise and eat right, it only compounds the problem!

  12. Gilly, I went from uber-stressed to stress-free when I was willing to let go of so many things I couldn't control ... and downscale so I removed all financial pressure. That peace of mind is fabulous! And I'm sure it has similarities with when you go out on a non-competitive run!
